Hi,
I see you are having great time in Japan. Study hard and anything you can, while you can (there is so much to learn there, and the time is always short).
The club here is a bit smaller (since you left), but we are churning along. Hopefully some of the new exco students will join soon, so a new generation of Oberlin aikidokas will grow. This year Joe Timpone and I are teaching all classes, since Jim is a full-time father now.
As last year some exciting seminars are coming up soon - like the one on randori by Ledyard sensei. Winter is coming too, leaves are falling all over the place - the gravity is a killer. Another term, another cycle, another year.
